The reason behind that company it totally focused on to the budget smartphones. In the budget smartphones, Xiaomi previous launched the Redmi 3, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3s & Prime also. These phones make the company name into the market. Now company launched a new phone into the market. In the series of that Xiaomi Launched the Redmi Note 4. This Xiaomi’s latest smartphone offering to give consumers balanced specs and pricing. Today we take it for a full review of Redmi Note 4.

The Design and Construction

The Redmi Note 4 have a 5.5-inch display which is overlaid with a Full HD resolution. It has fairly thin bezels and three capacitive buttons namely: Recent Apps, Home, and Back which is very common in most of the smartphones. As Redmi done before it also has a notification light so you wouldn’t have to guess where to press when you’re in the dark.

The Redmi Note 4 fully made by the metal body which gives it a looks like a very high-end phone. The Curvey look of the phone gives it a very nice and decent look and also making it easier to handle. On the top is the speaker for calls on the bottom speakers for the music along with charging point. On the right side Redmi note 4 have volume rocker and lock buttons. On the left side, you have Dual sim slots.

The front 5-megapixel camera is located on the top of the phone just beside the speaker for the call. On the back side of the phone, we have a 13 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash. Just below the LED flash, we have a fingerprint sensor. Fingerprint sensor can be used in many ways like to unlock and selfie click. Overall, Xiaomi Redmi did a good job with the build quality of the Redmi Note 4.

The Display Quality

The phone is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS, full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels and 401ppi of pixel density. It makes the display more clear and vibrant. The full HD display offers the color more clear and ambient. For review purpose, we transferred some of the picture and videos into the Redmi Note 4. I must say the quality of the color, clarity, also from the edges it looks so nice.

The display quality of the Redmi is more like to match with the high-end smartphones. In terms of display quality, it can be viewed properly even at extreme angles. You can also set the color contrast of the screen.

OS And UI

The  Redmi Note 4 is the first phone from Xiaomi that runs on the latest MIUI 8 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone is loaded with some of the basic apps there no unnecessary apps which you  have to deal. All you need to download the apps which you want from the play store.

MIUI 8 is the latest version of the MIUI or we can say it is polished version of the MIUI 7.0. If you are not familiar with the MIUI, then don’t worry it won’t take much time to adjust. Everything is well laid out and smooth transitions are a joy to see on the display. There is a lot more thing that can be customised. Apart from the customisation, it won’t slow down.

The Processor and Storage

The Redmi Note 4 coming in two variant. Redmi Note 4 is loaded with 2.1GHz MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor, 2GB / 3GB RAM, 16GB / 64GB internal storage, which is Expandable via microSD, up to 256GB. The MediaTek is claiming that is the first phone having the 10 core processor.

Camera

The Redmi note 4 coming in two variant as we told you. In the both variant camera is the same. The Redmi Note 4 having 13 Megapixel of rear facing camera with dual led flash and 5 Megapixel front facing the camera.  The 13MP rear camera is phase-detection autofocus both have an aperture of f/2.0. That could be very helpful in low-light scenarios.

The rear camera performs great in bright environments. The Colors and details are nice with a bit of strong sharpening. If you are a very much social lover and love to post on social media every day then it’s best for you. In soft indoor with dim lighting, the camera struggles a little bit to get decent shots, but still, it’s fine. You can adjust some basic camera setting and get the best pictures.

The Redmi Note 4 can shot the video at 1080p. There is a videos stabilizer function which helps a lot to shot the video. In term of video quality, very much satisfy with that. The color and brightness of the video are so much perfect. Overall I love the camera quality.

The Battery Life

The Remi Note 4 comes up a large 4,100mAh battery. This size of battery provides juice for the device. If you perform some of the basic functions like calling or messaging it can easy sustain 2 days. We’re able to use it for a full day with some moderate number of activities like calling, messaging, gaming, and music streaming. There is also a battery saver feature if you’d use that, it’ll easily go for 2 days or even more. The Charging might take time around an hour and 40 minutes using the included 5V 2A charger.

The Performance

In terms of performance Redmi Note 4 did a good job. The Redmi Note 4 is powered by the Helio X20 chipset from MediaTek. As we told you it is 10 core processor. The 10 cores are divided into three clusters to meet certain demands with a max clock speed of 2.1GHz while a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU handles the graphics department. Our model comes with 3GB of RAM and we are pretty much satisfied with that. The phone perform well in high-quality gaming mode. You won’t face any kind of lacking through gaming. Games like Asphalt 8, Nitro, H.A.L.O 3 are running very smoothly. Overall it won’t heat much with compare to other phones.
