Flattr is a Swedish-based microdonation membership service where subscribers select in to pay a month to month support to help subsidize their most loved sites and designers.

Flattr subscribers introduce an open-source program augmentation that records which sites they successive and shares this information with Flattr. Flattr forms this client information and pays out offers of the client’s membership to each enrolled Flattr designer in light of which sites the client devoured.

Flattr channels sites by domains with a default whitelist of participating domains, however, single clients can revoke and add to any place they need or withhold commitments from any website.
