To access this new function the user can go to app menu and tap on the mobile recharge. The user can also check all the available plans for calling and data.

But still, the popularity of Facebook is highest among all other social media sites. Currently, this service is only available on Android mobile phones. iPhone users will have to wait to use it on their phone.
How to do Mobile Recharge from Facebook
To use this function open the Facebook app on your Android phone. If you do not the app installed on your phone then you can download it from the link below.
In the app, open the menu by tapping on the three lines icon. Scroll down and you will see Mobile Recharge icon, tap on it. It will take you to the new page. Enter the phone number that you want to recharge and select the operator from the list. Once you enter the phone number the app will automatically detect the operator. It is possible that it does not show correct operator, in that case, use the manual method.
Now enter the amount which you want to recharge or choose from the list. Choose a payment method and proceed to recharge. Earlier the Facebook-owned messaging app Whatsapp started the UPI payment service. And now, Facebook added this new feature indicates that it is planning to make substantial changes to the user experience.
The thing to note here is that this feature is not showing on all the mobile phones. Also, the payment of mobile recharge made through Facebook can be done with the credit and debit cards only. Mobile wallets like Paytm, and online banking cannot be used to complete the payment.
Apparently, Facebook has introduced this feature to add a payment method on its platform which can be used in some other feature that might be introduced in future.
