Epic Games, an American Video Games Company has recently announced the highly-awaited android version of Fortnite, massively popular battle royale game. The company announced the launch on their developer blog post, planning to release it this summer. The post, titled “The State of Mobile” listed new features and advancement in the gameplay the game’s mobile team has been working on. Those include customizable HUD and added function for voice chat exclusively for mobile.
The blog post reads,“We know that communication is key when you’re squadding up for that Victory Royale, so we’re working to bring voice chat to mobile. On top of that, you’ll be able to chat with your teammates regardless of platform.”
The company is also working on few more voice chat options and muting feature for users to make sure voice chat is not wasted. “We’re also looking to make it easy to mute yourself, other players, or open up all communications with a simple tap. There will be a button on the screen that lets you mute yourself, mute everyone in your party, or go back to open-microphone.”
Fornite got released on iOS this march and sooner made into the top position of free games making $15 million revenue for the company with in-app purchases. In the blog post, Epic has also mentioned few more improvements in the game like firing and auto-run, performance and also introducing a battery-saving mode. We will also see improvements in the graphical performance and the stability.
