OnePlus 5T, a successor of OnePlus 5 and the latest flagship of OnePlus, company known to deliver flagship-like specs at a very reasonable price. The OnePlus 5 got unveiled with tons of new features we did not expect with the inclusion of new gorgeous 6.0-inch screen, a new dual camera setup and a blazing fast face unlock.
OnePlus installed its new face unlock features to their latest flagship in an attempt to challenge the iPhone X’s new face-unlock feature. Well, the new face-lock did create excitement among other Android Smartphone owners, and everyone wished to get their hands on it.
However, Google does offer a similar Trusted Face feature but is nowhere fast and convenient to the OnePlus 5T’s face unlock.
In addition to being incredibly accurate, OnePlus’s latest software optimization speeds up the whole operation. Keeping in mind that the hack is nowhere as fast as the 5T’s face unlock but is pretty cool and convenient to use.
The only requirement is your phone running on Android v7.0+ to get this face unlock feature and just follow the steps stated below.
How to get OnePlus 5T face unlock on Any Android Smartphone
Step 1: Download the Latest AutoInput
Download the latest AutoInput App on Google Play Store from the button given below. Join the beta program, if it asks you to join the beta program to get access to it. However, we were able to use it without doing so. Also, you may see AutoInput is a Tasker App plugin, but we need not install Tasker to use it.
However, when I tried joining their Beta Program, it said that my account is not eligible for their beta process.
Step 2: Buy a Pro Version or Start a Free Trial
After opening the app, click on Start a Free Trial to use it for 7 days, or you can also buy it for $1.99.
However, we suggest you try the app for few days and then buy invest in buying the app.
Step 3: Enable Accessibility for AutoInput
The phones running with Android Nougat v7.0+ will need to enable the Accessibility permission for the App. However, if you are using a phone running on Android Oreo 8.0, you will not need this step.
For users running Android Nougat, you will see a red color text to enable the services. On clicking, you will head to Settings > Accessibility, search for the AutoInput and click on the toggle to activate it.
Step 4: Enable Auto Dimiss Keygaurd
After you grant the accessibility, you will see green text under Accessibility option. Users with Android Oreo 8.0+ can follow the steps from here, click on the Auto Dimiss Keyguard and toggle to enable it.
You will find the Auto Dimiss Keyguard under Standalone Features.

This is the Final Step before you unlock your Android device with your face. To set up your face, head to Settings > Security > Smart Lock > Trusted Face. You will need to set up a PIN or PASSWORD to enable the Smart Lock, or you may need to enter the PIN before setting up the trusted face.

Now you are all set to use the feature, try unlocking your phone with your Face. To do that, you will just raise the phone up to your face and press the Power Button. This feature lets you unlock your phone without your Fingerprint, PIN or Password to unlock your phone.
However, the noted thing about this feature is that it not as secure as the Face Unlock of OnePlus 5T and also during my testing of this app, I could unlock the phone with my eyes closed or without even looking at the camera. Although, this is a fun feature to have on any Android Phone.
Bonus: Face Unlock for devices running above Android KitKat
Today, when everyone wants their devices to run on the latest software versions to get the latest features and UI. However, there are some devices which cannot be updated to the newest version due to their hardware limitations.

So to do that, you can follow the Step 5 and Step 6 mentioned above to set up your trusted face and unlock your phone by just using your face.
