Latest Snapdragon 845 vs 835- Detailed Review and Comparison

One of the fastest processor that we see powering the top-end flagships- Snapdragon 835 has a successor now. With the release of Snapdragon 845, the first question arises is, whether it is worth to spend the extra bucks on it. The 835 version is working superb on most of the flagships like Google Pixel 2, Oneplus 5T, LG V30 etc. And the mobile chipset market is not less competitive, we have the Honors in home production Kirin, the Exynos processor sporting the beautiful Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, and all time Snapdragon competitor Mediatech. And each of these has the most chipset based on the most advanced architecture available in today’s time.

So what is that one thing that makes the Snapdragon 845 the holy grail of mobile platforms? Keeping aside the comparison of clock speed, let start with the thing that is exclusive to this processor. After comparing Snapdragon 845 vs Snapdragon 835, it is pretty clear that the former offers a performance jump due to the better memory management and a significantly higher clock speed. Also, the A75 performs much better on the various benchmark tests. However, we have to wait for some time to see the devices which will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. The upcoming smartphones which are still in developmental phase would have benefit to test the newly launched chipset.
