Games like Sword Art Online (SAO) other alternatives

Sword Art Online is a well-known Japanese novel among teens worldwide. The novel was created by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by Abec. The novel got its first video game adaptation in the year 2013 on various platforms. The first in-game adaptation was titled as Sword Art Online: Infinity moment and was developed by Namco Bandai Games for the PlayStation Portable.

In the game the main protagonist is the young boy Kirito who is trapped in a life and death situation they cannot leave the game, if they try to do so they will be killed by the device that is attached to their head that helps them enter the game or if they die in the game they will die in the real life. All the player must clear the game to go back to their normal world.

Original Sword Art Online game follows a different plot than the original novel, Kirito, and some others player get stuck in the game world even after defeating the Heathcliff. The player must clear different levels of the floor of the game world and defeat different bosses to clear the game and save the world. The game can only be won by collecting resources, upgrading swords and costumes and learning new skills.
