- Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) provide a benchmark from time to time according to NABARD document. If your unit cost is less than that benchmark you get a full 40% subsidy, else you will be limited to the subsidy as mention in the above table
- Other than aPublic or private company, anyone can avail this subsidy. But as of 2016, thegovernment has issued a priority list, through which highest group on the priority list is preferred first. Accordingly, Public school or Institute is preferred first, and residential are preferred
