Dungeon Keeper 2, a sequel to Dungeon Keeper is a strategy game that was developed by the Bullfrog Productions. It was initially released for Windows platform by the Electronics Art. The game revolves around the user taking the role of dungeon keeper whereby he builds and defends the dungeon from any other invaders and other keepers.

The game can be played both in single-player and multi-player mode and has campaign mode where you have to recover the portal gems so as to open the portal to the surface. The game is bit same like the prequel Dungeon Keeper but has different elements like units, objectives and much more in this one.

Dungeon Keeper follows the storyline of the kingdom of Harmonia under the rule of King Reginald. The king has twenty portal gems which are safeguarded. The player has to assist the warrior Horned Reaper in conquering the realms so as to gain the portal gems.

You’ll start off with a Dungeon Heart and some of Imps, which is basically the life of the dungeon alongside offering additional functions. Furthermore, there are rooms like Lair, Hatchery, Training Room, Treasury, and Library. You can gain experience either via Training room or via the real combat with all other rooms designed for specific purposes.

The game ends when after getting hold of all the twenty portal gems the user defeats the King Reginald. However, you can also enjoy the other modes like My Pet Dungeon and Skirmish if campaign mode isn’t your thing.
